“Reef break with a beach break at Rauma. My secret place. Surf is reliable even with little wind. A challenging big wave break is west of Uusikaupunki in deep water. It is a reef break with 3 - 5 meter swells up to 10 meters in strong wind. This is not a break for novice surfers. Big waves can generate a near dry bed on the reef. Boats steer around this area, so it's yours for the taking when the wind is from the west. For VERY EXPERIENCED surfers only - the closest thing Finland offers to real big wave surfing. Be careful.”
