The Wedge Surf Guide

The Wedge in Garden Route is a sheltered beach break that does not work very often Works best in offshore winds from the west. Windswells and groundswells in equal measure and the ideal swell angle is from the southeast. The beach breaks offer left-handers. Best around low tide. Even when there are waves, it's not likley to be crowded. Hazards include sharks and rocks.
