The Strait Surf Guide

The Strait in Washington is a sheltered point break that has fairly consistent surf. Autumn and winter are the optimum times of year for waves. The best wind direction is from the south. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the ideal swell angle is from the northwest. The break here is a left hand point. Best around mid tide when the tide is rising. Rarely crowded here. Take care of rocks in the line up.
