Works best in offshore winds from the northwest and there is no shelter here from cross shore breezes. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the ideal swell direction is from the south southeast. There is no beach break as well as a right hand reef break.. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Take care to avoid the rocks.
