Summerland Bay Surf Guide

Summerland Bay in Phillip Island is a fairly exposed reef break that has inconsistent surf. Summer in particular tends to be flat. The best wind direction is from the northwest with some shelter here from southwest winds. Clean groundswells prevail and the best swell direction is from the southwest. A reef breaks right. Best around high tide. When the surf is up, it can get quite busy in the water. Beware of rips, rocks and sharks.
