Streedagh Strand in Sligo is an exposed beach and reef break that has reasonably consistent surf and can work at any time of the year. Offshore winds are from the southeast. Groundswells more frequent than windswells and the ideal swell direction is from the west. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights. Good surf at all stages of the tide. When the surf is up, it can get quite busy in the water.

“Its a great beach with lots of fossils,
its Really nice when its sunny and its
a more calm beach than the others in Sligo.
And one thing I love about it is that theres none of them
Flies that follow you in hot wheather.
(They're so annoying)”
