Sandhaven on the East Coast is an exposed reef break that has fairly consistent surf. Winter and spring are the optimum times of year to visit. Offshore winds are from the south. Windswells and groundswells in equal measure and the ideal swell angle is from the north. The reef provides both left and right breaks. Rarely crowded here. Submerged rocks are a hazard.
