Punta Colorada Surf Guide

Punta Colorada in West Guerrero is an exposed point/rivermouth break that has quite reliable surf. Summer offers the optimum conditions for surfing. Works best in offshore winds from the northeast. Tends to receive distant groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the south southwest. There is a left hand point break here. The quality of the surf isn't affected by the tide. Even when there are waves, it's not likley to be crowded. Take care of rips and sharks.
