“Check out Los Suenos del Mar hotel right on the beach just north of the town of Puerto Cayo.
Friendly staff that speak Spanish and English.
Clean rooms at reasonable prices.
Big swimming pool.
Great restaurant serving both local and international food.
They have the best bacon cheeseburger and fries in Ecuador!
Their tacos are killer, they even have real gringo style steaks!
They have a cool little bar with cheap drinks.
Sand volley bar court.
Ping Pong table, 2 pool tables.
I'm telling ya, this place is cool!
They also rent surf boards, and offer lessons.
A great, empty beach that goes forever.
Smaller waves, but no crowds. Surf til ya drop!
The tourists all go to Mantanita, the locals all know the best surfing is in Cayo.
