The best wind direction is from the northwest with some shelter here from north winds. Tends to receive distant groundswells and the optimum swell angle is from the east. The beach break offers both left and right hand waves. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Beware of Car robbery, Rips / undertow - Rocks - Man-made danger (buoys etc.).
