Point Hicks Surf Guide

Point Hicks on the East Coast is an exposed point break that has pretty consitent surf. Summer offers the favoured conditions for surfing. The best wind direction is from the north with some shelter here from southwest winds. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the best swell direction is from the south. Good surf at all stages of the tide. When the surf is up, it can get quite busy in the water. Take care of rips, rocks, isolated break and sharks.
