“If you are hardy enough to make the trip to Borongan in Eastern Samar... you will find this absolute GEM of a resort, literally the GOLD at the end of the rainbow, called PIRATES COVE!
Every room is unigue and so imaginatively designed. I've stayed there many times over the past couple of years... and I see something new everyday... the tile work, wood carvings, climbing wall, swimming pools and more are inspired by the owners imagination and over 20+ years of constantly improving the place.
No matter where you come from or what you are interested in... Pirates Cove is great for everyone!!!
Come on over... I guarantee you will enjoy this place!!!! :-)”

“The wind is offshore from NNE going west to WSW. It is cross offshore on the take off on NE to SW and offshore at the end of the wave on NE wind. It is blown out on E to SSW wind. Consistency of surf from Oct to April/June is everday out back and it's two minutes from the refrigerator. Man needs a cold beverage. Winter swells are broad based and strong, originating from huge low pressure systems off North Asia. As such it gets in everywhere. You just need to find a place where the wind is good since it is N to NE all winter in the PI. It very rarely gets crowded here. Beware of rocks and coral. One more thing you have us out on the island? We are on the south side of the peninsular point sticking out in the middle of the location map, on the other side near Bulevard break on the map. 5 minutes from town. Been here 22 years bro. All those so called names of breaks along the entire coast line came from my mouth, inadvertently repeated by people in the information business.”
