“Mates, it's a hoax. Don't even bother. This place is nothing more than a rock strewn shore break tucked into the side of rather filthy harbor. Between the surly locals and the sharks that cruise on the outside of the bay most people's opinion is that it's simply better to keep driving to the beaches further south on the Tokushima/Kochi border. Do yourselves a favor and give this area a miss. Do check out the super clean and beautiful Ikumi beach though -- a real gem and considered the best spot to surf in this area by most people.”
