Visitor reviews of Millers Rights surf break
(NOTE: Reviews may be edited by our content team for the purposes of ensuring accurate and relevant information)
“Millers Rights was originally Millers Light as the white cliffs are a beacon approaching from the sea. Nothing light about the break which works from very big to a fun small wave in the corner[20ft? to 2 ft.] The mornings are best as a SE wind is side shore like Lakies peak.
Only two surfers there when we visited, on wave skis! Then there was one as the ski busted, all 8inch thick of it.
Take food if you stay at the homestay run by the chief at the village Tarembang, Malekula Bay, otherwise hitch a ride on a private yacht from Sawu, Roti or Kupang.
We saw it break on the outside section at about 10ft top to bottom!
Locals are very friendly, honest and very poor. Be generous.”
