Marion Bay Surf Guide

Marion Bay in East Coast of Tasmania is an exposed beach break that has fairly consistent surf. Winter is the favoured time of year for surfing here. Offshore winds blow from the west northwest. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the east. Waves at the beach break both left and right. The quality of the surf isn't affected by the tide. Even when there are waves, it's not likley to be crowded.
