Majestics Surf Guide

Majestics in Catanduanes is an exposed reef break that has fairly consistent surf Works best in offshore winds from the west. Usually gets local windswells, but groundswells do happen and the ideal wave direction is from the east. A right hand reef break. Best around high tide when the tide is rising. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Watch out for dangerous rips.

“Very nice wave when its on. Great barrels. Best to go during Japan's cyclone season and wait for the swell to hit. If it gets too big you can try Virac Harbour. Pretty long paddle out to the break. About 250 mtrs. Not bad on the way out but after a few hours in the lineup the return paddle is a killer. Reef break so try not to get too messed up...long way to go for any real help.”
