Maimba Surf Guide

Maimba in Espirito Santo is an exposed beach break that only works once in a while. Summer in particular tends to be flat. Offshore winds are from the northwest. Tends to receive distant groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the south. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Rocks are a hazard.

Nayham from Brazil
“Excelente esquerdas pesadas e por vezes tubulares com a ondulação certa.
Pico raso, não permitindo se dar ao luxo de errar o drop, principalmente com a maré baixa e em dias grandes.

Excellent heavy and sometimes tubular lefts with the right swell.
Don't miss the drop, especially at low tide and on big days.”
