Lundy Bay Surf Guide

Lundy Bay in North Cornwall is a sheltered beach break that has inconsistent surf. Summer in particular tends to be flat. Works best in offshore winds from the south. Waves just as likely from local windswells as from distant groundswells and the ideal swell angle is from the west northwest. Waves at the beach break both left and right. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Watch out for dangerous rips.
