Lorne Point in Cape Otway is a fairly exposed reef and point break that does not work very often. Autumn and winter are the best times of year for waves. Offshore winds are from the west northwest. Windswells and groundswells in equal measure and the optimum swell angle is from the southeast. A right hand reef break When it's working here, it can get crowded. Watch out for dangerous rips.
