Le Morne in Mauritius is an exposed reef break that has quite consistent surf. Winter is the best time of year for surfing here. Works best in offshore winds from the northeast. Tends to receive distant groundswells and the optimum swell angle is from the southwest. Best around high tide. An uncrowded break, even when it is working. Beware of - Urchins - Rips / undertow - Rocks.
