Las Gaviotas in Tenerife is a reasonably exposed beach and reef break that does not work very often. Winter is the favoured time of year for surfing here. Works best in offshore winds from the northwest. Groundswells more frequent than windswells and the ideal swell direction is from the south southeast. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights. Best around mid tide. Rarely crowded here. Take care of cliffs at high tide.
