La Caldera Surf Guide

La Caldera in West Uruguay is an exposed beach break that has pretty consitent surf. Winter is the optimum time of year for surfing here. Offshore winds are from the north northwest. Tends to receive distant groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the south. The beach break provides left and right handers. Best around low tide. Relatively few surfers here, even on good days.
