Crons Surf Guide

Krans(Krons) in Cape Peninsula is a quite exposed beach break that has quite reliable surf, although summer tends to be mostly flat. Ideal winds are from the east southeast. Groundswells more frequent than windswells and the ideal swell angle is from the southwest. The beach break provides left and right handers. When the surf is up, it can get quite busy in the water. Watch out for dangerous rips.

“Cape Towns very own Keiki! Well not really but its the heaviest most consistent shore break you'll find in the area. On big days expect 4ft+ heavy barrels terminating onto very shallow sand banks. Ideal spot to practice barrel riding and falling into pits.”
