Islita in Guanacaste is an exposed beach break that has very reliable surf Works best in offshore winds from the north. Clean groundswells prevail and the ideal swell direction is from the southwest. The beach break provides left and right handers. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Beware of rips and rocks, especially east to the stick in the water.
