Ilha do Farol in The Algarve is an exposed beach break that has fairly consistent surf, although summer tends to be mostly flat. Ideal winds are from the northwest. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the ideal swell direction is from the south. The beach breaks favour rights. Best around mid tide when the tide is falling. It very rarely gets crowded here.
