Haulover in South Florida is a quite exposed beach/Pier/Jetties break that has inconsistent surf with no particular seasonal pattern. Ideal winds are from the west. Windswells and groundswells in equal measure and the best swell direction is from the north northeast. The beach break provides left and right handers. Best around low tide when the tide is rising. Likely to be crowded if working. Beware of rips, obstacles, locals, pollution and sharks.
