“El Segundo Beach Jetty is one of the funnest and most accesible waves in the south bay! The waves peel left off of the jetty and can make for some unforgettable tubes, sometimes even two on the same wave. The cheery attitude of the locals is encouraging to even the most timid of outsiders (I'm from the valley).

One of the boys in the local crew out in the water even gave me tips on where other spots in the area are, when they break, and the best tide to catch it on. Overall amazing beachbreak, heavenly local crew, and no urchins or shelves to hurt myself on.

I'll definately be checking out one of the other spots I was told about by the locals, I think it was called shit pipe or something like that.

Either way, feel free to surf Grand beach jetty whenever and with however many people as you feel like!”
