EL Muelle Surf Guide

EL Muelle in Caribbean Coast is a fairly exposed sandbar break that has pretty consitent surf. Winter and spring are the optimum times of year to visit. Ideal winds are from the south with some shelter here from west winds. Windswells and groundswells in equal measure and the optimum swell angle is from the north northeast. Waves at the sandbar are both lefts and rights. The quality of the surf isn't affected by the tide. Even when there are waves, it's not likley to be crowded. Hazards include jetty, rips.
