Damon Point in Washington State is a sheltered sandbar break that has fairly consistent surf. Spring and Summer provide the best conditions. Works best in offshore winds from the north northeast. Waves just as likely from local windswells as from distant groundswells and the best swell direction is from the west southwest. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Rarely crowded here.

“This CAN be a fun spot. But waves at Damon are mostly closeouts. They are intermittent during the summer. Surf picks up around September/October. Right now (mid December 2020) they're big and pumping, but beach and breaks are riddled with big driftwood logs from king tides. Never has been crowded in my four years I've lived here. A few locals surfers are happy, friendly folks; be sure to see Jen at North Coast Surf Shop in town.”
