“Early 90s. A very long rippable left rivermouth ! Gets big we caught it 4/5 ft seen it 8 + ft crocy for sure paddle out the lagoon to the river mouth. Seen sharks also but wave is long and rippable great times!”

“I surfed here in 2014, Scored it all time. Had to paddle a kayak from the kayak lodge down to the coast. Had a half km walk out to the sand bank and a further half km paddle to the peak of the wave in the river mouth. I scored the longest waves I've ever ridden. Def crocy and also sharky, but hey... its was all mine for the time I was out. Was noodled from the long paddles back out after each wave plus shitting my boardies scanning all the floating shit that looked like crocodile heads floating in the water. Not sure I'd do it again after reading more about the hazards. Good memory. Will try and find pics my missus took and post. Pretty hit and miss spot I'd suggest. Just lucked out that day.”

“Donkey Kong is right, It's a great place for croc hunting, the only thing is you'll have to fight off the drug traffickers to even have a chance at skinning one to finally bring your pair of croc boots home with you.”
