Canidelo Surf Guide

Canidelo in Douro and Minho is an exposed point break that only works when conditions are just right. Summer in particular tends to be flat. Ideal winds are from the east southeast. Waves just as likely from local windswells as from distant groundswells and the best swell direction is from the west. The location means that it never gets crowded. Beware of - Rocks - Man-made danger (buoys etc.).
