Buritaca in Caribbean Coast is an exposed river and Point break that is usually a safe bet. Winter and spring are the optimum times of year to visit. Works best in offshore winds from the south. Handles onshore winds better than most spots Windswells and groundswells in equal measure and the ideal swell angle is from the northeast. It's sometimes crowded here. Dangerous rips are a hazard of surfing here.
