Borth Surf Guide

Borth on Lleyn is a fairly exposed beach and point break that has pretty consitent surf, although summer tends to be mostly flat. Offshore winds are from the east with some shelter here from southwest winds. Waves just as likely from local windswells as from distant groundswells and the best swell direction is from the southwest. The beach breaks favour rights and in addition, there is also a left hand point break. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Rarely crowded here.
