Bobs in Efate is an exposed reef break that has reasonably consistent surf. Winter is the optimum time of year for surfing here. The best wind direction is from the northwest. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the best swell direction is from the south. The left hand reef break is better than the right.. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Beware of rips and coral.
