Back Beach in Inhambane Province is an exposed beach and reef break that has fairly consistent surf. Winter is the favoured time of year for surfing here. Offshore winds are from the northwest. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the ideal swell direction is from the southeast. The beach breaks are all rights as well as a left hand reef break.. Relatively few surfers here, even on good days. Take care of sharks and rocks.
