“Live here, surf here. Fairly consistent in season. June through September. Partially Protected ledgey right hand reef wave. First 50 meters can be very satisfying full down the line drive. On good days will peel thru a couple more sections. Best time to surf is on a mid low incoming tide. Starts breaking at 1 meter.
I find the best waves are when the monsoon winds blow from SW at 25 to 30 knots the break is protected by long breakwater of the harbor. This makes for side to side on wind direction with just a small surface chop. Most consistent and best wave I've found in the upper gulf.”
