“Morna, or Birubi as it is correctly known, works on a northeast wind, which occurs in summer, not winter, in this area.
It can work from knee high dribblers to double overhead, lefts and rights, but the left off the point is the racetrack on the right day.
If it is on, it's a prick to paddle out.
Morna Point is actually at another spot, which does not get ridable surf.”

“Last time I came here 3 things happened. 1)My car was broken into and spraypainted 2)I was intimidated and verbally abused by the local surf 'gang' 3) I was told never to come back. All for a 2 foot onshore dribbling day. Not recommended”

“Gutless most of the time, if it breaks usually a closeout. Good for fishing though-the place is crawling with white pointers 2/5”
