Animals in West Sri Lanka is an exposed reef break that has quite reliable surf. Summer offers the optimum conditions for surfing. Offshore winds are from the northeast and there is no shelter here from cross shore breezes. Groundswells and windswells are equally likely and the ideal swell angle is from the south southwest. There is no reef break. Rarely crowded here. Submerged rocks are a hazard.
