Animals Surf Guide
Animals in West Sri Lanka is an exposed reef break that has fairly consistent surf. Summer offers the favoured conditions for surfing. Works best in offshore winds from the northeast and there is no shelter here from cross shore breezes. Waves just as likely from local windswells as from distant groundswells and the best swell direction is from the south southwest. No reef break here. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Take care to avoid the rocks.
