“FYI: That B and B is not open anymore. I was looking to buy the land a year ago . While looking I noticed a fantastic left winding around the point right in front ...tempting but bought elsewhere”

“I live right above this spot -- about 300 feet from the waters edge and run a B&B called the Ocean Hideaway. This is a very "local" spot and not many folks even know it exists, but the surfers and boarders here are very welcoming and happy to share their little slice of heaven. I have some good friends in Montanita who will come on down here (about 90 minutes) when the waves are just not happening up there. Something about how we are located on the south side of the Santa Elena Peninsula provides waves when there are none on the rest of the coast. If you go onto FaceBook look up John Londres (who owns John Johns Surf shop up in Montanita) he has some excellent video of from about November which is definitely not the high season for surfing here, and he and his pal Pavel a boarder had an ecellent time. And of course my B&B usually has something to eat and hot showers and towels and a pool so bring your friends too. Check us out on facebook at TheOceanHideaway.”
