Salani Surf Photo: 'Te Sua Trench' by Rob Davies
On days when the surf is blown out at the Salani breaks, check out the incredible Te Sua Trench; a partially collapsed lava tube that has a free-diveable passage to the open ocean. Take care, especially when a swell is running and surging currents can make the dive-through difficult, sending you back into the flooded part just as you are about to emerge.
