‘Constantine Bay report: I just love it when the forecasters get it right, don't you? Three feet of swell, sometimes just a little bigger, is spilling itself into the bay on the dropping tide. The breeze is south easterly, clean and offshore but not yet having that proper cleaning effect.’

‘Harlyn report: Yep, there's a little wave around here this morning too. It is small and is a bit ripped on the dropping tide but there are one to two foot clean and glassy, deep blue waves rolling in. With the other side cranking through, that's the place to be.’

‘Fanore surf report: Well the surf today is about head high with a moderate onshore. The forecast for the coming week looks pretty good. We have high pressure moving north up over the UK and this will keep the weather generally fine for the week with temps above normal. Also as it tracks north the winds will veer from southerly to south easterly so we'll have mostly offshore winds all week. The current swell we have will drop off slowly but pick up again later in the week with the arrival of a new swell. The swell direction from the south west will be perfectly suited to us here in Clare. So...’
