‘Porthcawl: Suprisingly light winds this morning and Rest Bay is about 2ft on sets. Still dropping tide so it will get a bit smaller for the next couple of hours but then pick up this afternoon - There's a long period showing on the wave bouys so we should get a good 3ft this afternoon - maybe even a little bigger. Lets hope the wind stays light too(which it is forecast to)’

‘Whitesands Bay: Fairly messy 2 ft waves today with medium onshore winds. Quite mushy, gutless small waves first thing, very squidish with no real backbone to the shape. Probably get a bit better towards low tide but nothing great this morning. Small at low and then a few cleaner 1-2 ft waves later this afternoon. 1-2 ft tomorrow, 2 ft Wednesday.’

Constantine Surf:
‘Constantine Bay report: A much calmer morning again arrives quietly at dawn, a very light onshore all there is to break the silence. The surf is still sloppy and bumpy but way cleaner than it has been for a month or more. We may just be able to enjoy some walls and properish waves towards high tide if we're lucky!’

‘The tide isn't allowing it to be any good around here just yet and that wind, light as it is, is still onshore here too. After saying that there are four guys in down the bottom and they're having some fun, enjoying a more peaky Harlyn as a result of that light onshore.’

‘Coolum surf: 1.0 metres(3') 5-120 knots SSE. Beautifull start to the day and weekend with light winds, small surf and blue skies. Perfect days to learn to surf or get some practice. Waves are small with Peregian and northern beaches offering more size. Stacks of good fun banks along the Mt Coolum, Marcoola stretch areas with some tide about.’

‘Bundoran report: Sunday, The Peak has some really nice 4-5 foot sets hitting this afternoon, conditions are good with light cross-offshore wind, clean faces and long well over head peeling lefts and right, get on it. JB is out there ripping on the left, just watched him do a combo of off to bottom vert off the top snaps all the way along the reef,, go sham go.’

Surf South Oz:
‘Mid-Coast SA: The cool change moved in overnight, and this morning winds are onshore from the West at around 15 knots. There's nothing you'd actually call surf at this stage, just 1' of chop whipped up by the wind. We will see swell building during the day, and the first surfable waves will probably appear on the beachies around lunchtime.’

Surf South Oz:
‘South-Coast SA: Winds are offshore from the NW early at around 10- 15 knots, and conditions are clean. Swell is very WSW and that's limiting size, and surf is back to around 1 - 2' along the Middleton - Goolwa stretch. Waits and Parson's are probably your best bet for a shortboard wave, and winds will favour Waits.’

SurfWX:
‘Newcastle surf report: Open stretches suffering some morning slackness with the wind light out of the NNW/N. Size is mostly 1ft with an occasional 2 footer pushing through from the east. Period is just under 7 seconds which is seeing anything with size just folding over on top of itself. If you got a wave yesterday you’ll know where to head today.’
