‘Whitesands Bay: Clean 1 ft waves today with light offshore winds. Clean, crisp, very shapely but very small waves this morning with light offshore winds. Conditions will remain the same all day, so expect a few 1 ft sets but nothing bigger. It will drop off at low tide this afternoon. 2 ft tomorrow, 2 ft Sunday.’

PorthcawlSurf (School & Hire):
‘Porthcawl: Wind has dropped to almost nothing - but so has the swell. Coney Beach is 1ft and Rest Bay is about 2ft on sets but too high. We may get a surfable 2ft in Rest Bay as it comes off the rocks but then it will drop real quickly with the dropping tide. A small 1ft for most of the day in Rest Bay, Coney Beach will be flat.’

Constantine Surf:
‘Constantine Bay report: The birds seem pretty happy this morning going by the loudness of the dawn chorus. And what's not to shout about! A bright and cheery dawn is lighting up the bay, sunshine glinting off that two to maybe three feet of surf as the lightest of breezes hold those waves up to the early morning rays.’

Constantine Surf:
‘Harlyn report: It is glassy and pretty and peaceful but it's real small too. Bigger than I'd expected though, which probably means that the other side is a little bigger than it first seems but not by much. It's a foot of glassy walls around here at high tide, with the odd bigger thigh high one threatening the lineup now and again.’

Coolum:
‘Coolum surf: 1.2 metres(4') 10-25 knots SSE. Light offshore conditions early with small 2ft swell. A strong cooler S change predicted throughout the morning. SSE winds predicted to be 20/25kts. So get out early and early the small offshore contitions. All open beaches with small waves early and S protected corners the go when the winds pick up.’

Surf South Oz:
‘Mid-Coast SA: Conditions are clean on the Mid Coast early with offshore ESE winds around 7 knots, but surf is small. On the big morning tide it's barely 1' on the reefs, and it probably won't improve much as the tide begins heading out.’

Surf South Oz:
‘South-Coast SA: Onshore SE winds around 10 knots are adding bumps along the South Coast, but at least there's some swell. Surf is around 3 - 4' along the Middleton - Goolwa stretch, with 2 - 3' waves around at Chiton and The Gap. Waits and Parson's will be bigger, but with the onshores neither is gonna be pretty.’
