Coolum:
‘1.2 metres(4') 5-20 knots SE. All beaches looking a treat with the skies clearing, light offshore winds early and stacks of waves. Swell size has dropped leaving Coolum, Peregian and northern beaches with more size. Open beaches have some solid shore breaks on offer Maroochy, Marcoola and Mt Coolum have heaps of fun rides.’

‘Tis a fairly average morn of surf at 13th beach Barwon Heads today one would think that being one of the doyen’s of Australian coastal surf towns that we would be immune from bad winds and junky surf but alas we must bear the burden like the rest and ditch the surf and hit the café’s, luckily we have some of the best coffee houses in the Countr’

Surf South Oz:
‘Mid-Coast SA: The tiny swell from the last few days persists this morning, and conditions are clean with offshore ESE winds around 10 knots. Surf is around 1' on the reefs when the rare sets arrive, but there are long gaps and a slowly dropping tide.’

Surf South Oz:
‘South-Coast SA: Onshore winds have eased to around 10 knots from the SE, but there are still plenty of lumps in the swell this morning. Surf along the Middleton - Goolwa stretch is bumpy at around 2 - 3', with Chiton around 1- 2'. Waits and Parson's will be bigger at around 2 - 3', but quality will be dodgy with the onshores.’

‘Polzeath Surf Report 7.45: Too dark to get a good picture this morning, but I can see that Polzeath is largely blown out today and your best bet is to find a beach with a bit more shelter. I think strong onshore’s will continue to be the story for tomorrow and most of the weekend as we are back in the grip of a Westerly airstream.’

‘, plenty of swell in the bay today the Peak and all reefs are 5 foot, the Peak is 6 foot on sets, all Bundoran's beaches are too big today beginners go to Streedagh, wind is light to moderate cross shore, the swell direction looks pretty wonky at the moment, disorganized on the The Peak, it will be tidier on the incoming tide in the pm, high tide at 2:29pm. The high tide reefs will be the go today.’
