9.15am Friday. Flat in Coney Beach and a clean 1-2ft in Rest Bay. There's a small wave on the sandbars every now and then, so we could get a 2ft+ wave towards high tide ( just surfable). Keep an eye on the wavebouys to see what pushes in for high tide this afternoon.

‘Constantine Bay report: It's another beautiful dawn with a refreshing -6 deg C air temperature! And it's bone dry out there this morning too, making for crunchy sand steps and saving that windscreen scrape. The surf is still immaculate, small but not as small as it might have been and very pleasantly formed.’

‘Polzeath Surf Report 8.00: Again it’s very cold this morning with the road to the beach very icy. The swell is very small today but with little or no wind it looks pristine, another couple of foot and it would be worth the frost bite. High tide will be at about 2.00 this afternoon.’

Surf World Surf Shop:
‘, Nice waves and conditions in Bundoran again today, Tullan Strand is the best place to surf today with 4 foot waves, clean lined up consistent peeling sets. The Peak and reefs are 2 foot, wind is light offshore and glassy very good conditions this morning. The forecast for the weekend is for bigger swell tomorrow , surf early on Saturday as the wind swings onshore in the late morning, Sunday is big and onshore, Rossnowlagh or streedagh will be best for beginners on Sunday. Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday look very good with solid swell and offshore wind for all local reefs.’

Late Morning Update...The winds are light from the E now and the swell at around 2-3ft from the E. The water quality is improving but it is still a bit dirty around the river and creek mouths. Try the points with small ones at Noosa the pick for a slash this afternoon. Outlook for the weekend and into next week is good so get up early and wack some lips. Next week is looking really good so keep your eyes on surf-forecast.com for regular updates. Play Safe All Ay!

Surf South Oz:
‘Mid-Coast SA: It's a bit overcast early with light East winds, but conditions are nice and clean. There's some 18 second period swell on the CdC wavebouy, but there's no signs of life on the beach yet. Surf is pretty much dead flat, and today's dodge tide isn't gonna help.’

‘South-Coast SA: It's still onshore and a bit bumpy this morning, with light South winds around 7 knots. Surf along the Middleton - Goolwa stretch is semi-clean at around 3', and 2' at Chiton. Waits and Parson's will be bigger, and possibly semi-clean early, but onshores will start to get into it as early as mid morning.’

‘Newcastle surf report: Well the difference 12 hours makes, and a trough move helps. Wind has eased and shifted round to the SW/SSW. Swell out of the ENE and some sneaky solid bombs at times. Banks still looking less than ideal but after the last few days it's all a bit of a bonus.’
