Morning All, Conditions are messy from the NE winds that blew all night with the swell at around 2-3ft from the E and the water is still dirty from the heavy rain of the last few days. The winds are NE at around 5- 10 knots early and are forecast to go onshore from the ENE later. There are some waves to be had at Sunshine, Kawana and Kings so enjoy the day. At least its not raining and the sunshine gives us time to dry out for a while. Play safe all ?

SurfWX:
‘Newcastle surf report: Light onshores and rain are helping to keep the chop down but it’s a far cry from this time yesterday in the cleanliness stacks. Couple of foot out of the NE Still with us. Corners not offering much protection over open stretches. We could really do with a good swell to move some of the sand around. A few around nothing special.’

‘Constantine Bay report: A lovely day is ever so slowly spreading itself across the bay this morning. The wind is fresh but offshore and the waves are curling, glinting in the early morning light. It looks like a nice and even swell lining up, missing the Reef but rolling along the Slab, with a peak in the middle and a few rights off the Point.’
