‘Whitesands Bay: Bit messy 1-2 ft waves today with moderate cross/onshore winds. Not a lot of surf this morning with a lot of northerly winds and swell. Looks like the waves will remain fairly small for most of the day although some messy 2 ft waves will get pushed into the far south end of the beach, especially while the tide is out. 1-2 ft tomorrow and Thursday.’

‘Constantine Bay report: A northerly wind is greeting us this morning, blowing across the beach and holding those three feet lefthanders up. It's another fairly unexciting early morning, all cloudy and breezy, a little dull around the edges but that surf is a bit better than you'd be expecting, given the conditions.’

‘Harlyn report: It's one of those unusual days when there's not a huge difference in size! Two to three feet of sloppy surf is washing in, peaking better than you would expect in front of the Rock and looking strangely attractive in the half light of a dull dawn.’

‘, Tullan strand has the biggest surf in the area today with 3-4 foot waves, The Peak and all reefs are 2 foot, wind is moderate cross-onshore and bumpy. High tide Tullan Strand or the Bundoran Main beach at high tide will be the best 2 options today.’

‘Barwon Heads: A fairly sunny morn at 13th beach with a fresh southeaster and a very soft 1ft or so swell terrible conditions for surf but ok to walk the dog and ponder how big a fridge/freezer is needed to feed a family of 6 me thinks around 790 litres and around $2000 starting price..’

The morning tide is fairly full and peaks just after 8am, then heads out until around 2pm. Winds will probably come up from the North mid morning before dropping out just after lunch.’

‘South-Coast SA: We've finally got light offshores this morning, but the last week of SE-E winds have left plenty of lumps in the weak swell . Surf along the Middteton - Goolwa stretch is lumpy / glassy at around 2', with lumpy 1 - 2' waves around at Chiton / Gap.’

‘Newcastle surf report: Well it’s offshore, not sure if it’s going to last as winds down the coast are starting to head round to the S/SE. Think yesterday for the swell, couple of foot on a period of 7 seconds. Water is starting to drain off the banks so the bigger ones are tending to straight handers. Go the early and beat the wind.’

Aloha Surf School:
‘Fanore surf report: Just some small ankle slappers today with a light onshore wind. We have a blocking high pressure sitting out in the Atlantic which is pushing the low pressures to the north. This means that we will have no proper westerly swells this week with just some messy north and north westerly windswell. It looks like we might have bigger NW windswell for later in the weekend. We should see the return of westerly swells when this high pressure weakens and breaks down towards the end of the week/start of next week. Check back later in the week for an update.’
