More of the same again with only very small waves about this morning. The winds are light W early and 1ft of clean ESE swell, with the odd 2ft'er on the open beaches. It's high tide just before 8am and there are small beachies all along the coast before the winds go around to the NNW. A late SSE change is forecast

Surf South Oz:
‘Mid-Coast SA: There's some low cloud and winds are from the SSE early at around 7 knots so there's a few small lumps - but apart from that, surf is flat again. The tide is just starting to move out with low tide just after lunch, and only tiny peaks on offer on the beachies around midday.’

‘South-Coast SA: More onshore slops this morning with SSE winds gusting around 17 knots along the South Coast . Swell has picked up with surf along the Middleton - Goolwa stretch around 3 - 4', and 2 - 3' around at Chiton / Gap. Waits and Parson's will be a bit bigger, but again trashed the wind.’

SurfWX:
‘Newcastle surf report: A whole heap of negatives and not a lot of positives up here today. Onshore and showers are back. But no real increase in swell to go with the wind though. ESE’ers are in to all breaks so little protection to be found locally. Size lucky to see anything over about 2ft. Another 1.8m+ high tide on the way. Call it a lay-day.’
