Bundoran Surf Co:
‘Surf is 6 foot and onshore at the peak with fresh NW winds. Not as big as some charts predicting but will get a bit bigger later. Tullan is blown out. Rossnowlagh is one option for beginners but it will be windy. Streedagh will have some wind protection. Mullaghmore beach is too small to surf unless the swell picks up a lot.Low tide: 09:04, 1.1m High tide: 15:33, 3.3m’

8.15am Saturday. A bigger swell but windy. Rest Bay is about 2-3ft and Coney Beach is about 2ft. Both Beaches will get bigger towards high tide but Rest Bay will be totally messed up by strong onshore winds, so Coney Beach is your best bet.

‘Constantine Bay report: Sloppy, choppy, messy and bumpy waves are washing around the bay this surprisingly bright and breezy morning. A fairly brisk south westerly wind has whipped up a few extra waves but it is also pushing those same waves each way and every way.’

‘Harlyn report: It's just a wee bit small at the moment, there's a big wait for those sets but it's blue and crisp and sharp and when those sets do roll in they are pretty good! The Rock is the place to be right now although with the stream having drifted towards the middle of the bay, that will change as the tide drifts slowly in.’

‘Polzeath Surf Report 7.40: Sadly the surfing conditions are not good again today. There is a strong cross onshore wind blowing up waves of maybe shoulder high as you ride them, the period is very tight and the paddle out would be ‘up hill’ as you fight both wind and wave.’

Fresh SSW winds early and 2ft of ESE swell on the open beaches, with smaller ones in the S corners. It's high tide early, so check the beachies from Anne St to Wurtulla, Alex to Maroochydore, Coolum and A Bay. Small ones on the E facing points later in the day when the wind goes SSE and the tide drops
