‘Mid-Coast SA: Conditions are clean early with light SE winds, and a mornign tide peaking at around 7:30am. There are still a few 1' waves rolling in with rare bigger sets, but it is struggling to break a bit. The dropping tide might help some spots mid morning, and the beachies are bound to have a few waves through low tide at lunch.’

‘Harlyn report: It's quite pleasant here this morning too. Smaller but with that bumpy glass that rolls around at highish tide. It's a couple of feet of friendly fun, a bit bumpy here and there but fun looking and glassyish. If we had some sunshine (and it is forecast for later this morning) then it would be busy but right now there's nobody in.’

Wave Bandit: Hands On OH&S Oil & Gas Safety Services (tel: 0458 544 287)
Messy conditions with onshore winds out of the E and 2-3ft of ESE swell. The showers and grey skies continue and the water quality is poor after the heavy rain of the last 2 days. The open beaches are very messy, try the points and S corners if you're desperate for a slash. Be safe all...Cheers

‘Newcastle surf report: A few showers starting to make a return. Wind out of the NE/ENE so towards north ends are a good starting point. Low tide is a bit of a killer especially with that much sand around. Swell a very lacklustre couple foot from the ESE on 6 seconds. Here’s hoping the return of the tide will work some magic.’
